Companion Animal Care
Our team is dedicated to providing your pet with specialized veterinary care. We provide routine services as well as 24/7 emergency care for your pet. We also have a registered veterinary nurse who runs nurse clinics in our Belleek branch. Our services include but are not limited to:

Our Small Animal Accredited Belleek Branch also runs nurse clinics to cater to all your pets needs. Alicia runs nurse clinics including but not limited to:
- Weight checks and diet plans
- Microchipping
- Second vaccinations
- Ear cleaning
- Anal gland expression
- Dental checks
- Nail clipping
- Post operative checks & sutures out
- Diabetes clinics
- Blood sampling if recommended by a veterinary surgeon
- Puppy training
- PetPlan Insurance.
Pet Passports & Pet Travel
We are pleased to announce 4 of our vets are Authorized Veterinary Inspectors, meaning they can certified your pet for travel.
Traveling within Europe
Please contact us at least 3 weeks prior to travel to ensure all your pets relevant vaccinations are up to date. There are different requirements for certain European countries. It is your responsibility as a pet owner to research and identify all the requirements prior to travel and on return.
Out of Hours Service
If your pet requires care out of hours, please contact our usual office number and you will be diverted to our out of hours phone services. Our vets will be happy to see you and provide the necessary care to your pet. An out of hours fee will apply after 6pm. This increases after 10pm.

Out of Hours (OOH) Service
Lakeland Veterinary Services provide a emergency 24/7 service for both farm and companion animal care, operating 6pm - 9am weekdays, after 2pm Saturdays for weekend cover, and throughout bank holidays.
Please ring our standard phone lines and our out-of-hours answering service, Vetcall NI, will take your call details and pass these to our on-call vet.
Cost of OOH visit: Farm Animal
- Surgery visit: £45
- Up to 10pm: £55
- 10pm or later: £88
- Non-client: £100
Please note: out of hours service is available for emergency cases only. Non-emergency cases seen out of hours may incur additional fees.
Cost of OOH Consultation: Companion Animal
- Up to 10pm: £70
- 10pm or later: £90
- Non-client: £120
Out of Hours In-Patient Care Provision
The on-call vet is responsible for any patients on premises and will keep checks as they feel necessary on a case by case basis during the night.
We will not admit your pet if we feel that constant medical attention is likely to be required overnight, although the condition of any animal can change unexpectedly.
